Peek






Peek explores wild and theoretical ideas of placing two-way mirrors for public use. The conceptual idea was to promote the two sides of society and what we perceive may not be real rather a reflection of ourselves. Peek is located in the Hansen hall library and set the scene for the music film festival. During the daytime, the windows will be a mirror to the exterior perceiver, but see-through for the indoor viewer. This position is then shifted for the nighttime, due to the reduction of exterior brightness turning its mirror inside instead. The exploration of the two-way mirror gave my project potential and a new way to explore shadow ambiance.
